Hourly Rates are based on the following criteria

Basic Rate: For skills and services, regular rates are normally $65/hour minimum for short term assignments.

Basic Short Term Emergency Rate: For projects that are very short term, emergency, and can be done remote; my typical rate is $100-125/hour minimum.

Travel Rate: A higher rate will be required for any services performed outside of a 100 mile radius from the Northwest Alabama area. This is to compensate for the additional travel expenses and time associated with travel.

Extended Travel Rate(*): generally defined as work that requires overnight lodging, travel, etc. Factored into this will be the cost of lodging, meals, travel, etc. for the particular work area.

Note(*): In some instances, the client will be required to cover lodging, meals, and all other travel expenses where business travel costs are substantially higher than the U.S. average (ie. NY City, Southern California). Travel costs may also fall into this category if the project requires constant, or continual, travel to multiple short term locations.

Mitigation of Damages Requirement

Cancelled Contracts: Mitigation Contract (Generic) In the case of a cancelled contract, after a work contract has already been issued and approved, a minimum of one 8-hour day (at the agreed upon hourly rate) will be required in payment along with 100% reimbursement of all travel expenses incurred.
